The Eco Club at Baines School in Lancashire planted 3 flower plants for Holocaust Memorial Day.

A Year 10 SEND student reports: 'Recently, members of Baines school's Eco club braved the muddy conditions of the eco garden at the school to plant three flowering shrubs called: Peace, Grace and Tranquility. These things are important because the people who were affected by the Holocaust would have wanted to experience these things. It was good to plant them because they reminded us of the struggles of all of the people caught up in this tragic part of history'. Anna Lubelska, Founder of the Peaceful Schools movement was especially moved by this as her parents were Holocaust survivors. Bravo Baines School!
