A ‘Peacemaker’ is a child, young person, teacher or any other member of the school community who has ‘gone the extra mile’ towards the promotion of peace between others/people of any age.

Second Peacemaker Award!

Monday 20th April, 2015

On 20 April 2015, Anna Lubelska presented Lesley Wasley with a Peacemaker award. Lesley is an HLTA at St Edburg's Church of England Primary in Bicester, Oxfordshire. Lesley was nominated secretly by the Head Teacher so the presentation, which was made during one of Lesley's circle time sessions, came as a complete surprise!

First Peacemaker Award!

Thursday 18th December, 2014

On 18 December 2014, Mrs Helen Floyd, the School Chaplain at Oaklands Catholic School and Sixth Form College in Waterlooville, Hampshire was presented with the Peacemaker Award Certificate for her work on reconciliation between students at the school. This is the very first such award to be made in England. Anna Lubelska, the Founder and Coordinator of the Peaceful Schools Movement presented Mrs Floyd with the Peacemaker Award Certificate.
