New Beacon Peaceful School award has been given to Send CoE school in Surrey - hurrah!
Congratulations to Executive HT Sue Sayers and her wonderful team at Send Primary. The school has been on a fantastic and enlightening journey over recent years from being in 'Special Measures' to becoming a place where values and peace are at the heart of everything that they do and getting ranked as 'Good' by Ofsted with 'Oustanding' for their early years provision. The school works on all four levels of peace and is well worth visiting if you are looking to follow their example. One of the outstanding peaceful features of the school is the way in which pupils are genuinely consulted and involved in many aspects. Well done Sue and the team and all the school community!
