UN Peace Day 21 September

Monday 19th June, 2017

Thursday 21 September is 2017 UN Peace Day. The theme is 'Together for Peace: Respect, Safety and Dignity for All'. Peace Day provides a globally shared date for all humanity to commit to Peace above all differences and to contribute to building a culture of peace. We are encouraging all schools in the UK to do something special on Peace Day. And ex-Head Teacher Sue Webb has gifted her Peace Assembly to the world to use on that day! Peacemakers is a charity working with schools on issues around social and emotional learning, peace and conflict. We are undergoing a strategic review. This means we are thinking creatively about 'what next' for the charity from 2018. We would really like to hear from people in schools - whether you have heard of Peacemakers or not.
