Hillcrest Shifnal school gets award

Hillcrest Shifnal school in Shropshire received a Peaceful Project Award for their PPOD = Peaceful Place of De-escalation!
This special school for pupils with complex needs has done a great job in facilitating its younger pupils in designing a Peaceful room, the PPOD. With an underwater theme, the room provides a great place for chilling out and de-escalating as well as space for various activities. Assistant Head, Laura Smith, said: 'Our PPOD has made our school a much more peaceful place and we are very proud of our pupils for this.'
