Newman Catholic Secondary School in Coventry has an outstanding commitment to peace! Highlights include: the Peace and Justice Students Group, peace prayer garden, peace week, peace community festival, weekly group for bereaved students, wonderful Chaplaincy team, great school ethos, a positively peace-orientated rewards scheme, lots of partnership working with organisations and individuals like the WW2 Veteran Dennis Davison and a wide range of piecework in the community and beyond. The school is a beacon of hope and light in our troubled world. Congratulations to Marina Kelly the Head Teacher, Rhys Davies and all the other staff and students! www.cardinalnewman.coventry.sch.uk
